The Heart of Silence sangha is made up of not only the community of people living in Mount Shasta, but includes many of Devaji's students who live across North America and Europe.

In The Heart Of Silence Sangha

"When the hunger to know the truth overtakes the character's desire to survive, the light of reality lays witness to the whole dreamscape. What is revealed is that the flaws of this character cannot be reconciled because in truth they are not flaws because there is no character. There is a falling in love with what is called the human predicament and the flaws are then seen through the eyes of Love as flawless."

At the foothills of Mount Shasta in California, there is an open community that is devoting their life solely to spiritual awakening.

There are private satsangs for the group offered two or three times a week when Devaji is not traveling, as well as public satsangs in the summer months, and monthly retreats that are open to all. This offering is perfectly suited for the one whose hunger for freedom is the greatest hunger of all.

The sangha also serves as a heart-filled anchor outside of formal satsang. To fully immerse oneself in an environment where the collective commitment is to Truth above all else is a profound gift. Being in community such as this is a great catalyst and support on the spiritual journey. Although it is not an ashram setting (sangha members reside in their own private homes) the close-knit feeling of community is palpable and deeply cultivated.

Our extended sangha is made up of not only the core community of people residing here in the Mount Shasta area, but includes deeply committed groups based in Carmel/Pacific Grove, CA and on the Big Island of Hawai'i, as well as many long-time devoted members who live across North America and Europe.

If you would like to learn more about the sangha, please feel welcome to reach out. We would love to hear from you.
